Tasty Delicious is a for-the-neighborhood, from-the-neighborhood burger-and-shake shop in downtown San Anselmo, in the former home of Hilda’s Coffee Shop.
Chef Jackson Palmer’s concise menu includes burgers made with a custom Black Angus beef blend, buttermilk-brined fried chicken sandwiches and Caesar wraps, fries and chocolate and vanilla soft serve made with high-butterfat milk from Valley Ford Cheese & Creamery’s Jersey herd and served in cups or hand-spun shakes.
The retro dining room seats about 34, with wood-paneled walls, orange diner chairs and a green banquette backed in a ’70s floral print. A mural of old San Anselmo, Bubba’s original clock and the old Hilda’s sign recall the town’s past. Outside, a parklet seats roughly 50 at green metal tables and built-in wooden benches.
