Hand-formed nigiri and seasonal small plates

Neighborhood sushi spot on San Rafael’s West End from longtime local chef Jun Takeda, inspired by the bold, ingredient-driven cooking of his hometown in northern Kyushu, Japan. Hand-formed nigiri and seasonal small plates known as ko-ryouri are prepared with seafood flown in from Japan and sourced locally, along with produce from the Thursday Marin Farmers Market. The sake-forward beverage list includes rare selections from across Japan. The fully remodeled space features natural wood, minimalist details and seats 27 diners in an intimate setting with a small sushi bar.
