Fratm

Fratm is a new Neapolitan pizzeria and southern Italian restaurant in downtown San Rafael from Angelo Sannino, co-founder of the Doppio Zero group. Named for his brother, who runs the pizza oven, the restaurant focuses on wood-fired Neapolitan pies, house-made pastas and classic dishes rooted in the brothers’ Naples upbringing. Small plates, seafood, braised meats and traditional desserts round out the menu. Many specialty ingredients are sourced from Italy, while produce and proteins come from regional suppliers. The former Iron Springs Public House dining room was updated with new lighting, a pizza-kitchen alcove anchored by a handcrafted Stefano Ferrara Forni oven and banquette seating along the entry wall.
