Since 2013, Flour Craft Bakery in San Anselmo has been a stellar source for certified gluten-free breads, pastries, bars, galettes, scones, cakes, cookies and more. There is little to no compromise on taste and texture at this patisserie where the baked goods are made with whole grains like brown rice and millet flours, as well as naturally gluten-free ground nut and seed meals. Traditionalists may feel skeptical about how these white flour substitutes might impact old favorites, but these are just as delicious, if not more so, than their gluten-full counterparts.
