The two-story waterfront restaurant and nightlife destination debuted in downtown Tiburon in 2021 and entered a new chapter in June 2026 when Scottsdale-based Clive Collective took over operations from Mina Group. The move marks the hospitality group’s first project outside Arizona. Clive co-founder and operating partner Justin Massei, a Bay Area native who lives in San Francisco, has said the group plans to retain The Bungalow Kitchen name and build on the existing concept rather than reinvent it.
The California-sourced menu emphasizes seasonal ingredients, while the upstairs speakeasy-style bar adds a dose of nightlife with lounge seating, a billiards table and rotating Bay Area DJs on Fridays. The two-story, 12,000-square-foot space encompasses two expansive patios overlooking the waterfront and was conceived as a community clubhouse with a hip, beachy aesthetic by architect and designer Martin Brudnizki of Martin Brudnizki Design Studio.
